Wuhan University PhD candidate commits suicide

A part-time PhD candidate in Wuhan University committed suicide in the early morning of April 29 in a dorm，the Changjiang Times reported.

Yang Zhigao, 34, hung himself with electronic wires in the bathroom. His father, who lives with him, found his body at 7 am, and the student's body was already cold.

Yang's classmates said that he had been trying to finish his PhD dissertation, and stress may have pushed him to end his life.
