Whoops, wrong product

More than 100 businesspeople were dumbfounded after they were accidently shown a short porn video clip at a recent corporate-wide meeting in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province.

It began when a 30-year-old new hire of a Guangzhou subsidiary of a State-owned company used his laptop for a new product presentation video. But instead of the Chinese product, the room was treated to 60 seconds of foreign porn.

“All the company leaders were sitting in the first row with a better view of the whole scene,” said a staffer surnamed Yi. “There was a sudden burst of laughter, men began to boo and hiss, married women tittered and unmarried women felt shy or even embarrassed.”

The boss was enraged and stood up to silence the staff. However, his voice was drowned out amid the hub-bub. The new employee quickly clicked his laptop off, found the product pitch and the meeting resumed. But the Q&A session was skipped after the presentation video was finished because no one dared say a thing.

According to Yi, the new man was not sacked, but only scolded by his boss who urged him to separate his private video files from his corporate files.
